One of my most requested holsters ever is the Derringer holster that I made for a local customer. I made this holster over a year ago for him, and he has enjoyed it on a daily basis since then. He still reports that he loves it, that it wears comfortably and retains the gun properly. I could not make these with the reload loops and keep the price point where I wanted it, so I am working on a belt carrier for speed strips to compliment this great little holster.
As you can see, it can be worn on the small of the back, in an inverted position, or you may rock it around the strong side for an offset carry.
Or, this holster retains well enough that you can actually flip it over and carry it in a cross-draw position. With a simple rock downward with the draw, it makes a very effective discrete cross-draw that can be concealed under a vest, jacket, or untucked t-shirt.
I have three of these available – two in right hand and one in left-hand format, ready to dye, finish and ship. These have each been hand-stitched with Kevlar thread, hand molded and boned to fit the Cobra/Davis Big-Bore Derringers, and finish trimmed and skived. These will not fit the American Derringers nor the Bond Arms .45/.410, but I may be able to make a holster for your derringer of a make other than the Cobra/Davis model.
